Camelback Mountain Resort & Aquatopia

Many of our Pocono Pads are 10–15 minutes from Camelback for a reason — it’s the anchor of any Poconos trip, no matter the season. Winter brings 39 trails and the biggest snow tubing park in the country (42 lanes of it, lit up for night sessions). Summer flips the mountain into Camelbeach outdoor waterpark, plus mountain coasters, zip-lines, and a chairlift ride to the Big Pocono overlook that’s worth it for the view alone. And if the weather turns, Aquatopia — the indoor waterpark attached to the lodge — is 125,000 square feet of 84-degree slides and lazy rivers, open year-round. Our tip: buy lift tickets and waterpark passes online in advance, because walk-up prices sting and holiday weekends sell out. After a ski day, there’s nothing better than coming back to your Pad, firing up the hot tub, and watching the kids fall asleep mid-sentence. That’s the Camelback effect.
